Marathon Weekend
 
Eight and a half thousand runners lined up in the Knysna Forest on Saturday morning in perfect conditions for the Momentum Cape Times Knysna Forest Marathon. The cool forest morning turned into a warm day with a gentle berg wind and protective cloud cover for most of the race.

  • Come and "bet on a duck"
  • A fun yellow duck race for up to 1000 ducks.. at the Knysna Waterfront at 16h00
  • The tide and the wind will encourage the ducks to swim along the water canal under the lifting bridge
  • Prizes to first 3 Ducks!! 
  • All swimmers must be capable of swimming 1600m or 450m
  • Route: The course starts at the Knysna Yacht Club Hobie slipway. You will swim around the Yacht Club, turn right into the harbour, swim under the draw bridge, around the Quays Island, back out through the harbour & finish at the Hobie slipway.
 
 The Family Fun Canoe Race is  open to all paddle craft including K1s, K2s and K3s, single and double surfskis, sea kayaks, fishing kayaks, Indian canoes, plastic canoes, guppies and SUPs.
